“Meat” The Girl behind The Cart

Hi there, so glad you’re here! My name is Kristina. I am a wife, mom of 2, event coordinator for The Howlin Bird, and owner of the Curated Cart & The Girl.  I am originally from California but I’ve been living in NE Ohio for the past several years. Though I am a beach girl at heart, I absolutely love that I finally get to experience all four seasons. 

I have been in the hospitality industry for over a decade. In my 13+ years of working in this business, I have seen and experienced so much. What draws me to this industry is that no two days are alike, making work always exciting and different. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing people along the way who have either inspired me to try something new or help guide me in starting my own business.

My husband and I co-own The Howlin Bird, a quick-service restaurant specializing in all things chicken! His love for cooking combined with my passion for customer service and events has made us a great team. I continue to learn new things about the industry everyday, which never makes for a boring work day! Outside of my professional life, I love hosting parties, gathering around the table with friends and loved ones, and I’m a sucker for a good theme. I searched and searched to see if anyone with a similar concept could come and set up at my house, but I always found myself at a dead end. Then the thought occurred, “I can do this myself!” Enter, The Curated Cart!
